Society Limonta New Zealand is operated by Alfresco Inexterior Living Ltd, a New Zealand-owned business. All sales, orders, and deliveries are governed by these Terms and Conditions.
By placing an order or using this website, you agree to these Terms. We may update them at any time, and the current version will always appear on this website.
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, pricing, and availability shown on our website are accurate. However, we rely on information supplied by our manufacturers and reserve the right to correct any errors or inaccuracies at any time, including after an order has been placed.
Many Society Limonta pieces are hand-crafted or made from natural fibres, which means subtle variations in texture, weave, or colour may occur. These are not faults but part of each item’s character.
We also endeavour to display colours as accurately as possible, though differences in device screens or lighting conditions may result in slight variation. Such differences do not constitute a defect or grounds for return under our change-of-mind policy.
If a supplier is unable to deliver or a product does not meet our quality standards, we reserve the right to withdraw that product or cancel an affected order and will notify you promptly. We are not liable for withdrawing products, correcting content, or declining an order after confirmation.
We strive to keep our website current and accurate at all times. Product information, pricing, and availability may change without notice as we update collections or correct any errors.
From time to time, access to the website may be suspended, restricted, or closed temporarily for maintenance or updates. While we take care to ensure all information is accurate and up to date, we reserve the right to amend or remove any content as soon as an inaccuracy is identified.
When you place an order and your payment has been processed, you will receive an order confirmation email. This email confirms that we have received your order request - it does not guarantee that the item is in stock or that your order has been accepted.
Your order represents an offer to purchase, which is accepted only when the goods are dispatched and you receive a shipping confirmation email. At that point, the sale contract between you and Alfresco Inexterior Living Ltd (trading as Society Limonta New Zealand) is complete.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or amend an order before dispatch in the following situations:
- The product is unavailable or has been discontinued;
- There is a pricing or product description error;
- We cannot obtain authorisation for payment;
- Freight charges are unreasonably high for your location; or
- We suspect fraudulent activity or misuse of our website.
If your order is cancelled before dispatch, we will contact you promptly and issue a refund or store credit for any amount paid.
All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST, unless stated otherwise.
Pre-Orders and Custom Orders
Certain Society Limonta items are produced to order or imported on a pre-order basis. Once payment is received for a pre-order or custom-made item, the order cannot be cancelled, changed, or refunded.
By proceeding with a pre-order, you acknowledge and accept that dispatch times are approximate and depend on stock availability in Italy.
Our team will contact you to confirm estimated delivery timeframes, which typically range from two (2) to five (5) weeks, depending on supplier schedules in Italy.
We will always use reasonable care to communicate any updates or delays and to ensure your order is fulfilled as soon as possible.
PAYMENTS
Payments are processed in NZD through secure, PCI-compliant gateways. We accept major credit cards and other approved methods. We do not store card details. All transactions are subject to verification; fraudulent or suspicious orders may be declined.
SHIPPING
- In-stock orders are usually dispatched within five (5) business days.
- Pre-orders or custom orders (including Society Limonta items arriving from Italy) generally dispatch within two (2) to five (5) weeks, depending on supply.
- Our team will confirm estimated dispatch timeframes for pre-orders.
Delivery timeframes depend on courier services and destination. Alfresco Inexterior Living Ltd is not responsible for delays beyond our control (e.g. shipping, customs, or courier issues).
Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order. The total delivery charge will be displayed before payment and included in your final order total.
If shipping to your address results in excessive or unforeseen freight costs (for example, for rural or remote areas, oversized items, or special handling requirements), we reserve the right to contact you before dispatch to confirm any additional charges or to offer the option of cancelling your order for a full refund.
Changes to your delivery address or preferred delivery time after an order has been placed may also incur extra costs, which we reserve the right to recover.
Orders are sent via trusted courier partners. Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery to the address provided. Please ensure someone is available to sign for your parcel. We are not responsible for loss or damage after confirmed delivery.
Once your order has left us, you will receive an email containing a tracking number.
We are pleased to offer Click & Collect. This service is only available at our Parnell retail store, Alfresco Inexterior Living. To collect your order, please ensure you bring your receipt or your email confirmation in store with a valid photo ID and the card you made your with.
REFUND POLICY
We comply with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA), which ensures goods are of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and as described.
- Damaged or Faulty Items:
If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 3 days of delivery at sales@alfrescoliving.co.nz. We may request photographs for assessment. Once confirmed, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund as required under the CGA. - Change of Mind:
We do not accept returns or refunds for change of mind, incorrect selection, or preference. Please review your order carefully before purchase. - Final Sale Items:
Products marked “Final Sale” or “Clearance” are not eligible for return or exchange unless faulty. - Exclusions:
Furniture, Society Limonta products, or any item pre-ordered, custom made or manufactured to client specifications cannot be cancelled, changed, or refunded once an order is confirmed.
